BuildMyRank Review | Linkvana Review | Build My Rank Vs. Linkvana

buildmyrank review

Ok so we get asked a lot about how BuildMyRank.com compares to Linkvana, so I thought I’d do a brief BuildMyRank review.

Firstly, let’s get it out of the way, you’ll be seeing affiliate links for both Linkvana and BuildMyRank on this post, so don’t think I’m biased towards either one for financial reasons. I’d much rather you buy our SEO Training, so that’s the only thing I’ll really ever promote hard :)

Anyway, on to the BuildMyRank review…

Fundamentally BuildMyRank and Linkvana are the same thing, blog networks that provide aged, usually high PR domains on which we can leave snippets of text to create contextual one way backlinks.

Both do a pretty damn good job of providing these links. As far as I know, Linkvana was around first, and the BuildMyRank guys came up and thought, hey, let’s do this also but at a lower price. Originally BMR cost $59 a month for unlimited domains, making it a lot cheaper than Linkvana.

I remember when this happened, they got WAY more members than they could deal with and shut down for a while. They’ve since opened back up again, and restructured their pricing so that now their entry level plan is still $59, but only allows 5 domains. Then their pricing goes all the way up to $159 for 50 domains, making it actually MORE expensive than Linkvana’s $147 for unlimited domains.

Well, there are some feature differences. BuildMyRank say that they backlink your content as soon as it goes live to ensure rapid indexing, Linkvana doesn’t say that they do this, but who knows what they do. Dave from Linkvana uses the network himself, so it’s in his best interest to keep it functioning.

The other notable feature difference is that BuildMyRank lets you monitor your links, to see what the PR of them is, whether they’re indexed and that kind of thing. Is this a good feature? Personally, I don’t think it is. PageRank only gets updated a few times a year, so in reality your link could actually be on a higher PR page and you wouldn’t even know. I don’t like focusing on the tiny stats too much, there is way too much statistic obsession in this industry, and people would be best served by simply doing more, rather than analysing more.

Alright, so the big question…

Linkvana vs BuildMyRank Which one is better?

Well to be perfectly honest I think they’re much of a much ness. We’ve been using Linkvana for aaaages, and it works, so we stick with it. We do use BMR from time to time through outsourcers though when we need an extra push, but not that often. It’s great that both exist as it gives us as consumers more options, but our personal preference is Linkvana just because we’ve used it a lot more and don’t really have any complaints.

If you own your own business, and have less than 5 domains, then BuildMyRank is a better choice probably based on cost, but if you’re a niche marketer, product creator or Offline marketer, in the long run you’d probably be better off with Linkvana.

In any case, we can certainly vouch for Linkvana as a highly effective back linking solution which we will continue to use as long as it remains effective. I guess the point is that I don’t really care about Linkvana or BuildMyRank per se, I care about high PR (by this I really mean high authority) domains where I can place my links, on a network that is safe, robust and gives me consistent results.
